Post a logfile from the recording session, and we can take a look and see if there was a problem on the back-end.
If you are trying to watch the recording with "Films and TV", download VLC instead. The default Windows media player is very bad.
If you are recording to MP4 and any issue happened during the recording, the entire recording is corrupt. Never record to mp4 or mov.
