Whats up guys.
Unfortunately, i have a problem with my OBS stream and I'm wondering if i can find some help here. I've read all your fixed resources on this page but have not been able to alleviate the issue:
I'm new to streaming, and have a 152/12 fibre optic connection. Over a week ago i was streaming for 4 hours flawlessly, interacting with some viewers, having a great time, everything was fine!
Suddenly in the last week or so, my stream appears to be unwatchable. I haven't changed anything with my settings or my PC, but one of my viewers who returned was telling me it was now stuttering (every 10 seconds or so). After a while, the stream would just freeze and he would be forced to refresh the page in order to re-load the stream and continue watching. After previewing the stream myself on another device whilst streaming, i too am seeing this issue crop up after X amount of time. It just freezes and requires a refresh to continue.
Have tried: Lower bitrate, lower quality, multiple servers, different times of day, spoken with my ISP, played with my modem/hub, reset modem/hub, updated OBS, closed all programs, shut down firewall. It's so frustrating as I'm REALLY enjoying streaming and this issue appears to be completely random.
These are my desired OBS settings but have tried lower: Bitrate 3000kbps (CBR + CBR Padding). FPS 60. 1080 downscaled to 720p. Very Fast CPU preset. Streaming to UK server (im in UK, and have tried 2 other Twitch servers with good connections).
Completely at a loss and Google hasn't helped much either. The general consensus seems to be ''Its Twitch throttling the little guy'' or ''Its Twitch's crappy service''. I don't want to accept that after having a few great successful streams.
I'm posting here as I'm hoping someone more knowledgeable can analyze my Log File and tell me if there's anything fishy going on with it. There's some 'WARNINGS' in there but im not sure whether they would contribute to the issue im describing?
Appreciate any and all help in getting this sorted. Thanks!
:D
