Hello um I need help with recording my video games. I have Game Capture on and I put very very neat settings and my computer is normal but when I click "Start Recording" And full screen my game, then start to record and play, I click on "Stop Recording", And when I look at my videos which is located in my "Videos" Folder, it shows the screen is completely black, (YES, I do have a SCENE), Or sometimes when I'm in the menu screen, it only shows an image of my menu screen and does NOT record, and the game is not even in full screen. YES, I have wrote down the correct resolution size of my screen, from www.whatismyscreenresolution.com. If anyone knows how to fix this, please help me and I want to thank you thank you so much for at least trying to help me.

I'm so hyped! I came to this thread seeking answers, but—get this—I solved it myself! I almost never do that, so this is a big deal. :D

Look for a li'l old + button in the bottom left, in the box what reads "Sources". Choose a capture—Window Capture can work, but I still need to experiment. Right now, you have no source, so it has nothing to record video from. But if you choose a source, it'll record everything from that source! Good luck!

I know you said you had game capture, but one mistake I originally made was thinking the scene chose the source automatically. Did you open the scene properties while the game was running and select the game from the drop down menu?

How do you look at the scene properties?

I'm sorry, I meant "source properties". Right click "game capture" in the sources menu of the scene you're using. There will be a dropdown menu with a list of selected programs. If you don't see the one you want to record, try hitting "refresh" and checking again.

Sorry it took so long to reply, I don't frequent these forums.
