I am recording live sports action taking the HDMI output from a camcorder through an Epiphan Video AV.io Capture Card to the computer. The computer is used for recording only with no other drain on resources. Occasionally the video appears choppy or lagging for several seconds. Much more noticeable in preview than on the actual video file. I do have 2 GPU's, (GPU0) Intel HD Graphics 630 & (GPU1) NVIDIA GTX 1050. Utilization of both is around 20% with the CPU between 2-6%.
