hi i am new to this software and i am trying to record some game play for my youtube channel and the recording is very chopy but when i play the game it does not lag at all some one please help.

That CPU is really weak and is making the encode really slow, which is why your recordings are choppy.
Lower your frame rate to 25fps, downscale your video more, and try using the ultrafast preset, and see if those frame times go down. But my guess is that it will still be really slow. That is a very bad CPU for video encoding.

i run an Intel i7 and i have an AMD Radeon 7770, but it still comes out as a really choppy recording. I'm wondering how to record with decent quality for what i have.
