My OBS recordings don't look good

Hi,

I have been using OBS for a while but I have never been able to get a really crisp video. I have been following guide and tutorials but my videos still look trash. I have a pretty good computer:

11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-11700F @ 2.50GHz
RTX 3080
32 GB RAM
512 GB SSD

The text in the videos are not that clear and it is not sharp

Settings:

Type: Standard

Record Format: Mp4

Encoder: NVIDIA NVENC H.264 (new)

Rescale Output: Off

Rate Control: CQP

CQ Level: 12

Keyframe Interval: 0

Preset: Max Quality

Profile: high

Look Ahead: Off

Psycho Visual Tuning: On

GPU: 0

Max B Frames: 2



Why is it so blurry and how do I fix it
 
We would need to see a logfile from a recording or streaming session where the issue occurred to be able to offer accurate advice and troubleshooting. Why it asks for one to be posted when creating a new thread in the Support forums.

Also tried different settings and there seems to be no difference between recording in cq level 7 and 21. I tried cbr 2500k bitrate and 60k bitrate and still no difference at all. I went to simple and recorded in high quality and then lossless but the quality of the video were basically the same. Log file with cbr 2.5k bitrate: https://obsproject.com/logs/opL4XgPBEs8GSQWX
 
If you're having quality issues with lossless then the problem is more likely the player you're using than it is anything in OBS.
