My OBS Recordings come out choppy.

I’ve been trying to record on my windows 11 laptop with obs

I’ve been testing how it might look with short test recordings but no matter how I fuse with my output setting everything keeps coming out extremely choppy. Like 1/2 frame per second choppy.

I’ve never had this problem before but I’ve heard with more recent updates the default output settings can cause a choppy video on a laptop. I’m not completely sure though and I tried looking on other forms where others had similar problems but I tried everything I could and nothing worked.

I’m not sure how my audio is yet.

So here's my settings

Windows game mode is off (Looking at forms it said it makes things worse)

Output-Encoder settings:

Rate control: CBR

Bitrate: 48000

Keyframe interval: 0

CPU usage present: veryfast

Instead of CBR use CQP for recording.
Or even better, don't use advanced output at all and keep it in simple output mode. You can select between various presets of quality.
And the windows player isn't good enough. You need a better player like VLC to watch the videos you just recorded.

Ok I don't have CQP, and I can't change my output mode,
but i did get VLC and my recordings are just as choppy there.
