My OBS files are extremely heavy (1 minute of 1080p at ONLY 30 FPS weighs around 3 gb)

Hi guys, is it normal that my files are THAT big? I mean, I obviously care A LOT about the video quality, but that file size is just insane for my conception, considering that I am not even recording at 60fps, which will be the ideal frame rate for me. I am in such a disbeleif state that I am starting to theorize that my OBS has an error and is not compressing files as it should be. Will this be a plausible option? Another fact that supports this theory is that the past few weeks I have been recording reactions to videos and several random screen recordings at 30 fps, and the file size was about 96MB for six minutes. It is true that those recordings didn´t contain demanding graphics (let´s say, it was a recording of a simple Google Search), but it still had the same settings in OBS than the settings that I used to record the gameplays which resulted in the enormous file sizes. Will it be an option that, as the gameplays show in screen more elements and more colors, the recording will result in a much heavier file than, as an example, the recording of a white screen? IF you need to know the value of an exact setting, let me know and I will show you. Thanks for the help.

And try tools / auto configuration for good recording settings.
