Hi, I've been using the obs for 4 months and it's never been a problem. but yesterday when I opened the program to start my live, it gave an error and the following message appeared: failed to get text from remote: could not resolve host: api.twich.tv.
This happened after starting a storm here where I live where the light flashed 2 times and the pc restarted.

You need to have the OBS Web Socket program installed.

There's probably a heap of information on the net and on the Touch Portal site about solving connection problems, but essentially in Win 10 to resolve the Java connection issue you need to type Firewall in the search box, this will find and allow you to open up the Win 10 Defender firewall with advanced security window, then you want to click "Inbound Rules" and "Add a New Rule", then just go through the process. I will admit I am a noob and the image I have attached shows how I set mine up. It works but I'm not sure it's the most elegant. I'm happy to be corrected.

The websocket plugin has nothing to do with the original poster's issue, and there's nothing to do with java involved either.
