My OBS Can't Seem to Capture EasyWorship Display

here's my current log file URL:

I'm having the same issue that I've seen others have on these forums, and I haven't seen a successful resolution yet.

I'm new to OBS so maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I did my best to follow the instructions from this video from EasyWorship about how to configure it to livestream with EasyWorship overlay:

Anyway, everything goes just according to plan until the point where I add the Display Capture as a source in OBS. In the video, the EasyWorship display pops up, but it doesn't do it for me. I've even tried on two different laptops. I'm on a Surface Pro right now, but I also tried it on a Lenovo 2-in-1, and got the same issue, so I don't think it's something unique to this computer.

any ideas?

I should clarify, I know that there is a display-select dropdown once I add the Display Capture, but neither of them actually shows the EasyWorship display when I'm running it. I've tried while having a second, extended display active (HDMI to my big screen TV), and also without. It won't work either way.

Hi even I had th same issue finally I found that Easy Worship 6 doesn't support OBS live output screen... You got to run Easy Worship 2009... Easy Worship 2009 provides live output screen in OBS device capture...
Hope tis is helpful to u... try and enjoy....

Are you using Screen Capture?

Anyway, I managed to make it work based on EW team's suggestion using the obs-ndi plugin ( (1) obs-ndi - NewTek NDI™ integration into OBS Studio | OBS Forums (obsproject.com) ).

Am not an expert in this area... Anyway, from what I gather, basically it means making EW output via the NDI interface, and then have OBS capture that EW output. Normally NDI is used for network or multiple devices situation. But it works also ok locally.

However, am not sure if it's because of this kind of... unnecessary pathway, there is like a half second delay from changes on EW to be reflected on OBS.

Also it didn't quite work initially (cannot find EW output on OBS), but after some fiddling and perhaps the installation of NDI Connect ( NewTek NDI Connect (Free) ). Everything seems to be ok.

In future when physical worship is allowed and output of EW via HDMI to projectors is needed, then probably OBS needs to be changed to Screen Capture.

Cheers.
