Question / Help My monitor goes to sleep after 24 seconds of recording-HELP

So i just got obs and im trying to stream Star Wars: The old republic. i finally got the settings right and started streaming. however after about 20 seconds or so my monitor would just go to sleep... NOT my actual PC but my monitor, and i am forced to power off my pc and restart. Is there an solution for this?

If you are using Windows then go to Control panel/Power options and change the sleep settings for the monitor to ALWAYS ON or NEVER SLEEP
