Question / Help My live stream lags

Hi Friends,

Today I started to stream in youtube. It was not a game. It was just a test broadcasting my Monitor with some activities. But when i see the live, it was lagging.

My rig is Intel Core i7-870, Sapphire Radeon R9 270X, Intel H55 (IbexPeak DH), 8 GB Ram.

You had problems getting your packets to Youtube. Connection stalls and dropped frames. This could be a problem of your Internet Connection, Internet Provider or of Youtube.

What upload speed do you normally have available if you do a speedtest?

0.60 or 60mbps? :)
If its 60 your settings were fine and the you should check out the linked thread, on 0.60 you used too much bitrate.

No it is not 60 it is .60 mbps my download speed is around 8mbps...Ok will reduce the bitrate and try...

Ah yea, then your maximum would be 600kbps. You also have to remember its video + audio bitrate. And you should use max 80% of your upload. This all unfortunately means you can only use roughly 480kbit, so maybe 400 for video and 60-80 for your audio bitrate.
I would then recommend to downscale your output to 360 or 480p resolution.

You can of course try higher resolutions, but you might not be happy with the resulting quality :/ If you can, upgrade your internet upload speed to 2-5mbps and you are good to go.

My internet downloading speed is 8 mbps but the uploading is really sucks...
