This is happening more and more frequently and I'm getting really frustrated. Who knows how long there's been no sound then someone in my chat thankfully lets me know. Here's the weird part: it doesn't even MUTE, it's just that the slider is set to zero suddenly. I would never set a slider to zero. I would just... click... mute. I've scoured all my hotkey settings, nothing there, and I've never used a hotkey for any sound options anyway.
Sometimes it's my mic audio, today it's my game audio. It keeps happening... I think it's maybe related to when I switch scenes?
I sat there on obs and I pressed EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY KEYS in order and it would not trigger it. I can't seem to recreate it on purpose. I'm very confused. It's hard to search for anyone with similar problems, or if I find a thread, there's no solution. I know it's a really hard to solve problem due to it being random and impossible to seemingly recreate on command.
I know log files should be done when the thing has happened, but unfortunately I've already stopped streaming/restarted obs and my computer since then. Nonetheless:
In settings > audio I see "enable push to mute" but none of those are checked and never have been... Can't find any other settings that seem relevant.
Any ideas? I'll try to post a log file in here the next time it happens which will probably take forever now that I'm really trying to fix it. :P
