If OBS was running on your Intel GPU, then sure, Display Capture will work that way. If you aren't forcing OBS to run on your Nvidia GPU, it can sometimes end up running on the Intel GPU. However, if you run OBS on the Intel GPU, Game Capture and Window Capture will no longer work without large performance penalties, which is undesirable for most people and most setups.
