my desktop audio is 0 all the time.

i have watched SO MANY youtube vids but none of them have worked. i reinstalled obs, i reset my obs setting but NOTHING WORKS. i want to stream so bad, please help me.

And you do hear sound through your speakers or headphones, I guess? Don't know what of those YouTube video's advices you tried already, but to name a few obvious ones:
  • At Settings, Audio, Global Audio Devices either Desktop Audio or Desktop Audio 2 should have the right output device selected (the speakers or headphones etc.). Try to select the correct device rather than Default.
  • At the Audio Mixer select the settings (cog wheel icon), Advanced Audio Properties. For Desktop Audio (or 2) the Audio Monitoring setting should either be Monitoring Off or Monitor and Output in order to have any sound in your stream or recording.
  • If you use a Browser source, please make sure to select the Control Audio via OBS setting.
If none of this helps, please provide a log file.

Ugh, that PoS StreamElements plugin that pukes all over the OBS log
Notice that your Audio samplings rates dont' match... which is not advisable (not root cause of your problem, but isn't helping)
