Question / Help My CORSAIR HS70 headset's output audio is not being picked up by OBS

I am new to the recording scene and some of my friends recommended OBS. I have been trying to record some game play, but OBS hasn't been picking up the audio that my headphones, a set of CORSAIR HS70s, are putting out. They are wireless, so I do not know if that is a problem, but OBS seems to pick up audio of my regular wired headphones just fine. If anyone knows anything about this, could you please inform me.

Corsair's drivers are bugged, you can try this workaround:

Turn windows sonic (7.1) on, apply changes, turn windows sonic (7.1) off.

Question: I am new to a lot of this stuff, what is windows sonic. Also, thank you in advance.

HERE IS THE FIX!
1. Open Control Panel
2. Search for "Sound" and click the first option. It should say "Sound"
3. Now find your Headset under the "Playback" tab
4. Right click your headset and click "Properties"
5. Now go to the "Spatial sound" tab
6. From here click on the drop down menu and select "Windows Sonic for Headphones"
7. Click apply
Now OBS should be able to pick up your audio
You can now go back to the "Spatial sound" tab and select the off option if you wish, as OBS will still record audio.
I dont know what "Windows Sonic for Headphones" is or does, so I just have it to Off.
Hope this helps :)

I have pretty much the same issue but with the following headsets: Hyper X Cloud 2. The thing is i´m trying to record some League of Legends and when i´m in game, my mic doesn´t get recorded, but when i´m out in another window or in the wallpaper, it does, it´s pretty annoying.

So I have this issue and currently use a Corsair headset but not this same model. I got this work around to work twice but not been able to get this to work ever since. It is like hit or miss it seems. Have they found any sort of official fix for this? other than some random workaround?
