Hello,
I keep having problems with my audio on obs, whenever I stream my audio/record my audio starts out fine. However, as the stream/recording goes on the audio starts to lag behind what's happening on the screen and I don't know how to fix it. I don't believe it is my wifi, I have the cox ultimate package, and I don't think its my computer. (its a brand new gaming/streaming pc.) Is there a setting on obs that I can check to get rid of this problem? Is it something on my computer I have to fix? I have a youtube channel and this problem is starting to get in the way of it, I would appreciate the help.

Thank You.

You should never use Wifi. WiFi is just too unstable, fluctuates way too much. Always use wired Ethernet connection. For best performance, use Fast Gigabit Ethernet (1000Mpbs, not 100Mbps) equipment. Your modem, router, switch, hub, cables, network adapter and motherboard port - all must be Fast Gig. No mixing with slower Ethernet as it will fallback to the slowest speed. So you should have a DOCSIS 3.x cable modem that has wifi on it and multi Fast Gigabit Ethernet ports. You run one Cat 6 cable from the back of the cable modem straight through to your desktop computer. That computer must have a Fast Gigabit network adapter or Fast Gig port on the motherboard. If your cable modem doesn't have Ethernet ports, then you got to go out and buy one.

Audio lag typically is a sign of crappy audio drivers, crappy audio equipment, an under powered CPU, and/or improper audio setup.

I fixed it. I just reinstalled obs and was recording for an hour or two. I
viewed the recording afterwards and everything was fine. I think it had to do with the video bitrate. Thanks for the help.
