Question / Help muting sources in different scenes

So the problem I have is this (and I'm hoping it's just me not seeing the obvious), I have multiple scenes set up to use and while many of them use the same sources not all do. One problem I have had is when I tried to record something that should have only recorded audio from my capture card, the audio from my microphone was recorded as well. I am using OBS Studio 23.1.0, regardless of what scene I am in I see all the same inputs in the mixer and if I try to mute a input in the mixer for one scene it does it for all of them.

Suggestions are needed and welcomed.

The Sources pane only shows sources you've added explicitly to a scene, no matter what type. They can be video sources, audio sources, browser sources, media files, whatever.

Audio devices also live in Settings > Audio. If you have devices selected there, those appear in all scenes AND will appear in the Mixer.

If you look in the Mixer pane on the first image, you have 3 audio devices: the capture card, desktop audio, and your microphone.

If you want precise control over per-scene audio inputs (this is the way I like to do it) disable ALL audio devices in Settings > Audio and then add audio devices on a per-scene basis.

Thank you for the information. I will give that a try and see if it does what I need. I appreciate the quick response to my question.
