Question / Help Muting input audio while on Mic

Is this feature available on OBS? There are times when the music playing on my stream over powers my voice and my viewers can't hear me too well. It's troublesome adjusting it every time when one song is louder or lower than my mic and I have to fiddle with my mic/audio output on OBS.

I've seen some streamers do this, what's their trick?

You could use replaygain to keep your music at a consistent loudness. Currently OBS has no built in ducking support, this may be added in the future though.

Out of curiosity @R1CH, how difficult would this be to add as a plugin, based off of the mic noise gate plugin? Just set a System channel ducking level to trigger on open/close, and a de-duck delay/speed (possibly a ducking speed as well so it doesn't just cut to the lower level, but follows a gradient)?

Is it possible in the current implementation for plugins to alter the system audio level, or is this something that would have to wait for the Studio rewrite to get done (and stop dicking around on the Mac side of things finally)?
