Music drops when switching scenes

I use OBS for live-streaming DJing, and have a number of scenes that I switch between (different visuals and camera angles)
but when switching scenes the music drops as it transitions from one scene to another, any way to change this so it's continuous?

Your playing pre-recorded music on the streaming computer?
or do you have an external audio device that you are playing music on, connected to computer using OBS's Audio device?
If external Audio device, did you create new audio source per scene? using desktop audio? or ideally one Audio Source, replicated into additional scenes?
