Hey guys,
I thought I would come try your product out as I have had a lot of problems with xSplit at the moment! I havent been streaming long either so when Ive messaged them for help with issues I dont get a response for days.

Anyhoo, I would like to know if there is a way to stop the 20sec delay from playing to streaming on twitch? And is there a way to play iTunes on stream? Also how do you get permission to play music?

Thanks x

Oh and also is there a viewer count that shows how many is watching? I like your program, if you need it advertised I can plop in on my channel although I'm not too popular ATM.

No. The 20-30 second delay is due to Twitch switching to HLS. It will be there no matter what software you use. Even when they were on RTMP, there was a 6-10 second delay, as livestreaming is not an instant proposition.

OBS will pick up any audio being played through the desktop audio device. So if your music is playing through your speakers and OBS is set to record system audio from those speakers, it'll go out on the stream. As far as getting permission, you'll have to contact each individual artist/rights-holder and get permission from each one. Separately. Some artists do have publically posted licenses (BigGiantCircles, Popskyy come to mind) and so long as you comply with their licensing terms, they grant permission.

Viewer count is displayed on your Twitch dashboard, it isn't integrated into OBS. You can also grab a copy of Dashboard Lite if you'd rather not use the webpage.
