Hi all

I have a live vlog serie. I use a relative difficult setup - 4 cams for the 4 guest + 1 main total view cam.
The 4 cam is a same type to keep consistent color and light performance.

After the succesful setup of cams, after restarting the PC, some camera isn't appear.
In some cases, not the same camera appear.

I try everything, set all the properties for all the cams, but isn't bulletproof - some cameras still black.
The XSPLIT displays all cam correctly after restart (But I really dislike XSPLT :( )

There is any method to setup the scenes where all the cams appear correctly after restart?

If needed I can post all the logs.

Unfortunately this is a common problem trying to connect multiple identical USB cameras, and it seems to stem from all of them being initialized simultaneously, causing identification conflicts. Ideally, the best way to actually fix this is to ensure each webcam is connect to its own usb host controller, as that will eliminate any identification collisions at the lowest level. You can use USBview to help with determining how your system is actually configured.

If you don't have enough usb host controllers, it is possible to drop in a dedicated PCIe card like this one, which has separate host controllers per port -- this is what I use, and it works great for this specific application.

If it's not possible to separate each of your cameras to a dedicated host controller, then the only real workaround is to disable/re-enable the cameras which have not shown on OBS start.
