Multiple managed broadcasts do not work with YouTube

Still a newbie here - I scheduled two live streams of Church this morning - one for each service. In OBS, I selected the appropriate service under Manage Broadcast. The first service worked fine. However, the second service (30 minutes after first one finished) did not. OBS and YouTube failed to sync-up like they did in the first service. This has happened two weeks in a row. Note that I did stop the stream for the first service properly by selecting "Stop Streaming" in OBS. Do I have to also do something in YouTube?

My own answer. . .
Through a LOT of trial and error, I've discovered there's a weird bug. I have the problem described above (unable to start a second scheduled stream after stopping the first) 100% of the time when I choose "Select broadcast and start streaming" in the "Manage Broadcast" menu. It never occurs when I choose "Select Broadcast" in this menu and then "Start Streaming" from the Controls menu. Bloody maddening. . .
