Hi all,
I'm struggling to get multiple audio tracks in record mode. I can't find an OSX tutorial online but found a Wind**s one and followed that. I still only get a stereo file when dragging my MP4 into Adobe Premier Pro. I'm using a M-Audio 2626 interface with mic, keys, bass and guitar plugged into separate inputs on the 2626. When I hit record, the mic level is registering on all 4 tracks in the audio mixer - there is no separation.
So my question is: Can I record multiple audio tracks with ONE interface with 4 things plugged in to separate inputs on the interface or do I need 4 DIFFERENT audio interfaces and record one track from each interface?
For example, I plug in an Mbox, M-audio interface, Focusrite, RME - four different interfaces and select each one in SETTINGS > AUDIO > DEVICES and thus it will give me separation of tracks?
Or is it possible for OBC to recognise 4 different inputs from ONE multiple source (M-Audio 2626).
If I use QT7 pro, I can record multiple audio tracks, only problem is that you can't choose how many, and so on my interface it records 26 tracks even if I'm only using 3 or 4. Thus I'm trying to use OBS in order to only record the tracks I'm using....
Any help or understanding would be appreciated
