Click the cog next to the word "Mixer" on the OBS interface and make sure your audio sources are being applied to separate tracks.

Hi, I may have stumbled on a solution that may help anyone still struggling for a simple solution, even though it's been a year. I exported the file as mkv from obs and then used mkvtomp4 to turn it into an mp4 file. Then I renamed it to .m4v and voila, all audio tracks appeared automatically when I imported it.
The conversion program also supports converting to m4v directly.

Disregard my previous post. It looks like the issue was with OBS Studio. I was trying to use Type: Custom Output instead of Standard. I did this originally due to another issue I've already resolved. For some reason, the Custom Output only allows 1 track (hence radio buttons), while the Standard Type allows multiple tracks.
Thank you so much, I just made a post about it and you fixed it!
You made my day so much better thanks!!
