Question / Help Multiple Audio Tracks not working correctly.

I am trying to have my desktop audio on track 1 and my mic audio on track 2. But when I play back the recording the only sound to come through in track 2 or which ever track has a higher number. Both tracks are receiving audio but track 1 never records.
