Question / Help Multiple audio track problem

So, I’ve set up multiple audio tracks, and have double and triple checked using YouTube and google to make sure I’ve done it right.

Now when I record, if I use mp4 format I have great video quality but no sound or sound from only 1 random track. But if I use mkv format I get all my audio tracks seperated, but the video quality is very poor like 460p.

Any ideas?

It is not recommended to record directly to mp4 as a crash or interruption will lead to an unrecoverable file.

Record to MKV and remux afterwards; it's an item in the File menu.

Oh okay, thanks for the info.
Does the remixing afterwards sort out the bad video quality?

No, remuxing does not affect video quality. The choice of container (mkv, mp4, flv) has no effect on quality, only on available features like multiple audio tracks.
