Question / Help Multiplatform VCE Streaming?

Can I use this with streaming? If so would there be any change in settings? Or should I stick with x264? I see alot of new features in multiplatform, but i'm loving it more than classic obs

That might be AMD video encoder that is probably in the GPU, which can reduce CPU usage. You may try it and compare the quality, is it better or not?

Oh and another bug I found was if I have two scenes made (one for recording and one for streaming) if I have the webcam put in the recording scene and streaming it will only show up on the recording I have to actually go into the recording part and disable it for it show up on streaming.

Right-click on your source and select Filters, there should be a scroll filter for you to use.

All sources in OBS-MP are global, so you can't do things like add two separate webcam sources for the same webcam. Instead, when you go to add the webcam to the second scene, choose the existing webcam source that appears in the list. Otherwise you'll need to make two separate scene collections.

Nevermind I got it. Thank you. I noticed that obs studio is less intensive on my computer than obs classic, performs way better. Definitely love this program.

Okay, one more question. Anyway to trim webcam or game capture? I know obs you held down ALT i think it was. Alt, Ctrl, Or shift doesn't work.
