For anyone who actually cares, this is probably already apparent to you, but Display configurations that had problems with certain versions of DirectX or simply did not have the functionality required to use OBS; the Intel G43/45 Chipset being one such example, now work splendidly.
Quite nice, my old work rig now has the capability to share my passions with the world.
