Hello,

I have streamed in the past using my PC, which is an MSI Ghost Pro 4k laptop. But now, I have it closed and in a drawer, and am using it as a desktop basically. I have 2 monitors connected to it through a USB 3.0 dock as well as some other peripherals. I can do monitor capture on my Intel graphics card, but only get about 20 fps. When I switch OBS and my PC to my Nvidia Geforce 960M, it gives me a black screen. Thanks in advance!

The desktop is running on the intel gpu, so you will get a black screen when switching to the Nvidia.
When running on the Nvidia, your only options are window capture and game capture.

Is there any way that i can use the windows capture with photoshop? I found a thread where there was a workaround by turning off the graphics processor in PS but that makes it terribly laggy and glitchy. Any thoughts?

with photoshop, you can use game capture and it will just work. ofcourse, you'll have to set both OBS and PS to run on the nVidia.
