Question / Help MSVCP140.dll is missing from OBS zip

Use the installer instead of the zip. The installer automatically installs/refers to installation packages of dependencies.
 
If anyone else runs into this issue, heres the file you need

None of these solutions work. I even tried placing the missing dll files manually and I got another error (0xc000007b) which I also can't fix.
 
I used the installer and it did not take care of installing msvcp140.dll for me. Just to comment on that reply. I'll try manually installing it.
 
For those with the same issue - I did a repair on my Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable and it restored the missing DLL.

yes there is a way. delete the cornet (Visual C++ 2017 Redistributables you have installed. downlead it again..

NOTE.do not delete OBS if your setting is not backed up, only delete the (Visual C++ 2017 Redistributables. that's how I fixed it,
