Howdy,

I've read several other threads from people with my issue but I need a bit more help, I think. First, I downloaded the installer. The window opened that took me to the microsoft page to download vcredist_x64 and vcredist_x86. I downloaded them both, but when I tried to run the installer, the same window opened. I tried restarting, but again, the window. I read on another thread that I could also download the .zip file, which I did, but like many others I was told that MSV... you know where this is going. What should I do when I KNOW I've downloaded those two files but neither the installer or obs64.exe will run?

Thanks!

Hi Harold,

Yes, I did. I solved that problem, though, because I didn't realize that the files needed to be opened and installed! I have a new issue, if you or someone else can help. After I installed those two files, I got 4 new messages saying that the following .dll files were missing

qt5widgets.dll
obs-frontend-api.dll
avcodec-57.dll
libcurl.dll

Uninstall OBS Studio, restart your computer, make sure the OBS Studio directory is gone/empty, reinstall OBS Studio. If it still doesn't work, please provide a log file.

Hi RytoEX,
I followed your instructions and it still didn't work. The newest error message is: Failed to find locale/en-US.ini

I would provide a log file if I could
