msg error in recording video NVENC

hi
i have tray many time to find solution but i have the same probleme
this is the error msg that i get when i tray to record a video

befor update to new version the software work with no error

i have delait obs and make a new install
i have delait the grafique card driver and install the last one .i have geforse GT 710
The solution that i have find it's to change ENCODER setting to X264
but the quality of video is bad any solution Plz

i have tray many solution best one is go to download the 28 version and enjoy
you will not have the msg error so don't update to thelast version of OBS
download the full 28 version from here

Hi, I think the 28.x version doesn't handle old parameters for NVENC: presets support changed => p1-p7, in 27.x used quality, performance and others.
Also, new presets don't work with older GPUs, I have a GTX 680 and it won't work at all specifying presets. The 28.x OBS will work well with newer graphics card drivers 500 not from 400 and older.

I did my research and I can say that the old presets were very well optimized. Recently added presets (they are far from new) work much worse (especially their performance) and I do not share the developers' opinion on adding them. The reason is probably the output of the RTX 4000 with AV1.

You won't lose anything if you stay on older versions of OBS. I hope that in the future everything will be fixed and optimized.

Yeah! I just installed the old version 27.2.4, and everything works fine again.

It could be perfect that developers of the 28.x version could add a compatibility mode to include older nvenc driver versions. But for now 27.2.4 is enough, we should stay here for a while until they polish the new one a little bit.
