Question / Help MP4 Videos will not display or Play in Scenes

I had set up a really nice live broadcast with several different scenes and even preTESTed them in a broadcast yesterday. But today, they will not even show up on the screen let alone play. I am confused beyond all compare, I have not changed the file locations in fact they are all in a folder set up just for this broadcast.

When I test the MP4s they play perfectly and the routing addresses are correct. I even deleted the entire scene and replaced it but still no result. Of course I have rebooted my computer, still no luck. I have not moved the MP4 files in fact they are in the same dedicated folder they were in when I had it working perfectly.

I have done other episodes (Scene Collections) and when I load those I have the same problem.

I have tried to set up and entirely new test scene and add a Media File, when I do, a very small red circle shows up at the upper left hand corner but when I click on it to try and drag out the frame it just disappears.

Here is a log file

I don't see any errors in the log that jump out.

Are you able to share a sample file that isn't working so I can test on my end?

Ok, I will try and do that... right now. I think this may be related to a forced "windows" update, I saw one other comment like mine that was simular and it was related to an update they did yesterday. In that event (and this is a question) will work on a windows computer without the update? Correct?

Here is the link to the "Json" file in dropbox https://www.dropbox.com/s/98t7qct836lfo85/Short_Sale_Terry.json?dl=0 I want you to know I am very grateful for your help. Thank You... if I have done this wrong please let me know.
In the scenes there are multiple media sources. The first scene is an intro video and the third scene is a second intro video.

Let me know if I can help. If it was a matter of letting you look at my system to diagnose the problem, I am totally game for that also.
Respectfully

Here is the URL for the link to the video that was playing in the first scene https://www.dropbox.com/s/gzfcvi7pa67lbz7/Eastlake First Entro.mp4?dl=0

There are about 5 more videos that were to be part of this full Scene Collection.

This is in the same location (folder) that it was the day before when it worked infact I ran a test of it streamed to Youtube to insure that it all worked perfect. In the same Scene Collection there are some Jpegs also in the same folder and they will display. The only change I can even think of in the system is the Windows update that was forced on a reboot after Premiere Pro crashed.

You may have to wait for Fenrir to help you...
While you are waiting for him I would suggest re-adding the video again in OBS and see what happens...
I have had occasions where the path to the video got messed up and they wouldn't play.

Thank you Banyarola, I have already done that. I have even totally deleted the scene and rebuilt it. I have a feeling the issue is in the Windows updates that were done yesterday. KB4074588 and KB4087256 I am un installing them right now to see if that has an effect. One of my associates ended up with some problems with his computers and getting into some other sites after this update also.

I see nothing wrong with that video file, and it's playing perfectly fine in OBS on my end.

Perhaps do a reinstall of OBS and see if that helps.

I deleted and reloaded the OBS and there is no change. It is as if everything is perfect but the internal "switch" to the video will not allow access. Everything related to the "Scene Collection" is in the same folder. The Jpeg links that I have set up in the scene are working just fine. Any ideas on how to overcome the "switching" issue?

I'm not sure what you're referring to with "switch". There isn't anything like that in OBS. The video will start playing as soon as it becomes visible in most cases.

I am very grateful for your help... can you think of any thing in my computer that would block the launch or display of the video? Is there something that gives or denies permission to OBS to access or launch the video file?
