Move General settings.

I have a few different profiles, some of which I use for different push-to-talk keys and some of which I use for different settings. It would be great if the General section in Settings... were removed and implemented into every settings window. That way you can change profile in each section and tweak multiple profiles much more quickly than having to click General, change profile, then go back to where you were, rinse&repeat.

The design is admittedly a bit poor, my apologies. Need to revamp a lot of things, honestly.

Yeah, I was thinking similarly too. I didn't say anything because the UI can be moved around whenever Jim gets around to it.

Some other suggestions for the UI. Video encoding settings could be wrapped into the 'video' category in settings. Audio encoding settings also moved to the audio menu. (Alternatively encoding options could be moved to broadcast as they're quite applicable to this category as well).

Disable aero moved to advanced settings and set to 'disabled' by default (unless applicable). This may actually be the case, but I haven't done a fresh install of OBS in awhile.

Higher quality audio resample moved to the audio category (this is subjective).

Since this eliminates the majority of the categories on the left side, tabs could be used at the top instead (subjective as well).
