mouse lag upon opening OBS

It seems like since the recent updates my system is having a lag issue with OBS. It will only be using 2% of CPU usage but be lagging uncontrollably with mouse cursor being SUPER laggy.. I know my system is more than capable of recording on OBS and I did so with no issues for a long time. AMD Radeon 6700 XT paired with AMD Ryzen 7 5800X.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
