Mouse cursor stuck in game window

Hi,

I'm quite new to OBS. I'm trying to set up OBS in order to stream Call of Duty, and my PC runs Windows 11. Everything seems to be working fine until I launch the game (captured through Game Capture > Capture specific window): as soon as the game launches my mouse gets stuck in the game window (full-sreen). I am then unable to move the mouse out of the game window and access the second monitor running the OBS studio. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix this?

OBS itself isn't confining your mouse. Usually, it's the game doing this to avoid players clicking out of the game window in the heat of the battle. If you're playing a game in true fullscreen mode (not windowed fullscreen), this is kind of mandatory, because the fullscreen app is minimized as soon as some other app is activated.
If you switch your game (in the game settings) to windowed mode or windowed fullscreen mode, the mouse is usually not confined to the game screen area.
