Question / Help Mouse cursor isn't lining up properly

I'm streaming Runescape a lot recently and I've had something pointed out to me, that the cursor isn't lining up properly. It's not off by a huge area, a 10-20 pixel range, but ever since it was brought up it is constantly bugging me and I want to know how I can fix it.

I'm having a similar issue, also with Runescape, however the mouse position on the stream is relative to where the window is on the screen. However, not even having the client in the top right corner lines the cursor up correctly. Would really appreciate any advice, as I know it's an issue with me and not a bug or anything.

Can we please have a resolution for this?
several other people in my class are also now using OBS, thanks to me, and another person with the same model machine as mine has the same problem. I'm thinking that it's something to do with OBS and the machine itself - if so, how can I change OBS to fix this? After all, OBS IS open source, so I would think it wouldn't be too hard to somehow alter it to correctly record on this machine.
Also, we're using Lenovo Thinkpad Yogas.
Attached is a screenshot of the issue. It appears to be licked to the left top corner - when the mouse is there, it's more or less in line, however the further down and right it goes, the more out of line it gets - to the point where my cursor will be closer to the center of the screen than anything else and yet I will be able to click on a folder right in the bottom right corner of my desktop. Very weird.
A solution would be fantastic, please!

I doubt that's going to happen in OBS1, but are you perhaps using dpi scaling in windows?
