OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045
Mouse:
It's a cheap wireless mouse I bought on Amazon, and I can't find any specific info in windows device manager. I don't think this is the problem though.
First let me say I love OBS and am so thankful for all the hard work that so many must have put into it and still are. A big Thank You for that!
One thing I _think_ I've seen is that it does seem to happen more often when I'm in a hurry to open OBS. I have a button (shortcut) for OBS on my taskbar. OBS never starts when I click it. I have to wait maybe 5-10 seconds hovering over the shortcut (And also moving mouse over it, off of it, and back until finally I get a minimized little picture of OBS above the button. It does seem like if I click that image immediately, then the cursor disappears after OBS starts. But not always. This behavior in itself I find obnoxious. Why can't OBS start like every other program I have on my computer instead of minimized? Is there a setting to change that? And why is this apparently the default behavior? Maybe so it doesn't interfere with other stuff on the monitor you want to record? Anyway I would sure like to change that also, besides fixing this annoying disappearing cursor problem.
It doesn't always happen but when it does, the cursor disappears totally, from Desktop, any application, etc. Just totally gone. I can see the highlighted buttons, links, etc when the invisible cursor passes over them. I've tried disconnecting the mouse and reconnecting, etc. Nothing will bring it back except closing OBS. Then it is immediately restored to visibility. This is a source of great frustration with your otherwise GREAT product. I hope someone can fix this behavior. It is really a pita because if I start a recording of a screen capture of an online program, event, etc., and don't want to wreck my recording by stopping OBS entirely, I am forced to try to function with no mouse cursor perhaps for hours when doing other tasks until the recording is done. TIA for any help you can provide.
