Question / Help Motion blur

Hello,

I've started streaming a couple days ago and noted that sometimes the screen gets blurry (specially during motion). I tried to configure my OBS according to the OBS estimate website and the log analyzer, as well as used a ping test to set the server that best serves me.

I understand that the problem is problably linked to my low upload speed, but was wondering if you guys could give me different options/better ways to optimize my stream quality.

General info (log uploaded too): i7 3770k (3.5 ghz), 8gb ram, gforce 660ti, 2mb upload speed, win7 64bits, the monitor/game resolution is 1920x1080 (downscaled to 1280x720 1.5 on OBS).

Thank you for reading and helping, and please excuse me if I didn't supply enough info, this is the first time I am trying to stream.

p.s. am streaming a MMO (swtor).

Streaming relatively high motion content at 720p and 1500 Kbps is going to result in compression artifacts. If the quality of your stream isn't acceptable you should increase the bitrate if possible, otherwise downscale to a lower resolution.

Thanks sapiens, what determinates/limits my bitrate? What I mean is how do I know how far can I go with it?

The speed of your internet connection, specifically the available upstream bandwidth. For example if you only have 1 Mbps of upstream available, streaming at 2 Mbps will be a mess that your connection can't handle. The general rule for Twitch.tv is "3500 Kbps or less" so if you aren't sure what your connection limits are then head over to Speedtest.net or Testmy.net and find out.
