Hi,
So I am pretty sure that this is an issue with my monitors but, it only happens when I am using OBS so thought maybe it was related. I have a large setup for my
streaming PC. I am running 4 monitors of various manufacturers. All are 1920x1080, 3 of them are regular 60hz and my one gaming monitor is 165hz. The 3, 60hz are
connected via HDMI and the high refresh rate is connected via DP. So I will have OBS open and not even doing anything with it and all of a sudden all of the monitors
will go to black like they are searching for inputs. After a couple of seconds, they will turn back on but when it comes back the preview window has rescaled itself to
what looks like portrait mode scale. Sometimes this screws up the encoding and I will have to restart the stream or recording. I have everything set to scale resolution
on GPU. I have searched and cannot find a reason first off why the monitors are doing this. I use both an El Gato HD60 Pro to grab my DSLR and then I have the
Avermedia Live Gamer Duo to capture from my gaming PC and PS4. I am kind of at a loss right now and while this is usually just a minor inconvenience it would be
nice if I could know that this is a monitor-related issue or is being caused by OBS. Even though I highly doubt it is related. Any information would be greatly
appreciated.
