Monitoring without recording on Desktop sound

Hi guys!

I have little problem which I am unable to solve.

I am using Virtual Cable A & B in order to be able to seperate the Spotify Music. When I activate the monitoring in OBS, the line will be captured to the Desktop Sound in order to be able to hear it on my headphone. This means, that also the recording of the Desktop sound is containing the monitored music.

Do you have any idea, how I can monitor the music and Desktop Audio during stream but also record the desktop sound without the monitored music?

Don't monitor in OBS. Just have A+B sent to your headphones, and capture just the desktop audio portion in OBS.
