Monitor source muting hotkey?

So I have a mic running in to obs that I use filters on and eqs I route that to my stream and I use the monitor out put of only that mic to my game chat so in game I have the filtered and eq on the mic witch works I was looking for a way of hot key muting the obs monitor witch in my case would be vb cable is this possible or is there an easier way

OBS does not support hotkey muting for the monitor, as it's meant to be... well, a monitor.
You'd do better to look through vb cable and see if it has hotkey mute functionality there.
