Monitor is 4k but set the resolution to FHD But the recording is not sharp.

Hi,

I have tried to find a solution to my issue before creating a new thread but couldn't find.

So I have a 4K monitor which I changed the resolution to FHD because I want my recordings to be in FHD.
OBS Video setting by default are set to 4K.
- When I change the cavas and output to FHD and use fit to screen, the recording is not sharp as using 4k canvas and output.
- When I keep the canvas to 4K and change either the output to FHD or from the recording options to scale to FHD, the recording quality become so bad and blurry which is not usable.

My expectation is since the resolution of the monitor is changed to FHD and all the settings are on FHD, OBS should be able to record in FHD sharply.

I will appreciate any help to my issue.

What do you mean by use "fit to screen."? You're applying a transform to the source? It should be at native resolution, matching canvas size. Screenshots?
