Question / Help Monitor Capture not working

Hello,

I cannot get my monitor capture to record video. The audio works fine, but no video in the mp4. When I preview stream I can see the desktop and everything seems to be working, but when I actually start recording it is just audio, no video.

Does it work if you use VLC to play back the video?

Yes, it does actually. Do you know why?

Your other media player doesn't support h264.

Ok thanks, I'm guessing there is no way around it so it will playback with windows media player?

You might try installing the K-Lite codec pack, but I'm not certain if that will change anything.
