gsync on desktop is hacky at best which basically attempts to sync the framerate of the desktop with the monitor's Hx.
OBS on the other hand has a static number in which fps are inputted for the fps. if the gsync Hz(fps) is lower than the OBS fps. then it will not look good or work well.
basically it is recommended to disable freesync if attempting to capture non-full screen capture methods.
