When attaching my Logitech BRIO, the "video format" dropdown doesn't list MJPG. MJPG seems to be the only format to support 4K or 1080p60.
Elsewhere on this forum, I found that other people are also in need of this function: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/video-capture-device-v4l2-plugin.17358/page-3#post-394340 . In the next post ggodlewski even created the feature. I compiled his version of OBS studio and it works. I tried to make the same changes to the latest master of obs-studio, but unfortunately that results in a segfault when selecting MJPG as the video format. I'm not familiar enough with C++ (anymore) and OBS to fix this myself in a reasonable amount of time to create.
In case the OBS developers are willing to merge this, I'm can spend some time to make a pull request for the current master.
