Question / Help Missing DWM For A Friend

I have been trying to help a friend ( CrReam ) with monitor capture and the new way to do it in Game Capture but for some reason he doesn't have the option for DWM like I do.

Sorry for the potato screen, took it from his stream.

We are bother running v0.635b but he is missing it in both of his 32 and 64 bit.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

What operating system does he have? That option only shows up in Windows 7 iirc. If hes using Windows 8 then he can just use normal monitor capture.

Windows 7 64bit just like me.

I believe the problem is that he doesn't have Aero running. If I turn Aero off DWM also disappears for me, get him to turn it on.

So i can't test further with him because he claims with Aero enabled it effects his frames or something. I run aero fine when streaming so i have no clue lol thanks for the help man.

If he's using Moniitor capture at all with Aero enabled, he will have very bad performance.

no he claims that aero gives him FPS drops in game with or without streaming. anyways, not really my problem lol was trying to help a friend. thanks tho
