I can only record the cursor and audio for Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.10. Screen remains black. If I toggle on SLI/Crossfire Capture Mode (Slow), I get one frame captured then the video freezes (other than the cursor continuing to move when I move my mouse)
I have tried everything I could think to try to get Game Capture to work. I followed the OBS guide and ensured OBS and Minecraft (javaw.exe) both are running on my graphics card (AMD 6700XT). Everything is running in admin mode. I had RivaTuner, thought that could be the issue from other posts, ensured it was turned off and even uninstalled it but no fix. I tried turning off Auto HDR and AMD Freesync. I disabled my iGPU driver in device manager to ensure everything was running off my dedicated GPU. I messed with the Minecraft runtime arguments and added "-Dorg.lwjgl.opengl.Display.allowSoftwareOpenGL=true -Dorg.lwjgl.opengl.Display.no_d3d=true" to force OpenGL. Also tried the opposite with forcing D3DX. I don't think I have any other software interferring with the recording, like MSI afterburn. I checked the list of conflicting apps.
I would record in Display Capture or Window Capture, but the video quality looks TERRIBLE compared to my actual gameplay. Recording in 1440p and downscaling to 1080p. Would getting something like a capture card bypass this issue? I only have 1 PC but I'll buy one if I don't have to deal with this frustration anymore.
Attached are my logs.
