Question / Help Minecraft FPS Drop

When I play minecraft without recording/streaming it I get around 300 FPS, but when I do record/stream I drop down to 20 FPS. What are your recommended settings for livestreaming Minecraft on Twitch, because I want to steam it, but I don't want terrible quality.

Enable vsync in Minecraft or set the frame limiter to something reasonable like 60. If you want to record, follow the steps at https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-make-high-quality-local-recordings.16/ or use a hardware encoder like Quick Sync.
